"Sly" has had 8 months of professional training (3 months ground & starting with Allen Hicks and 5 months Western Riding with Larry Chastain) and has been nominated to the Oregon Paint Horse Breeders Triple Crown Futurities. He has a slow, easy going nature and is a pleasure to be around. He has also been tested by UC Davis to be homozygous for the Tobiano pattern gene.

His sire, JRW Desert Fox, was a SOHA Res. Halter Champion. His paternal grandsire, Out Foxed Again, was a Ca. State Res. Halter Champion, an APHA Halter point earner and a sire of APHA winners in Halter, Showmanship, Trail, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Hunter Under Saddle & Hunt Seat Equitation. Sly's paternal great-grandsire, Vics Gold Bars, earned Superiors in Halter, Western Pleasure & Hunter Under Saddle.

His dam, Our Sassy Reward, was a SOHA Halter Champion. His maternal grandsire, Wanted Reward (by Remedy's Reward- NCHA 7th in World), is an APHA Halter point earner, APHA Cutting point earner, OCHA money earner, Zone 2 Cutting Champion (amat), Zone 2 Open Cutting Res. Champion (2 judges) Zone 2 Halter Champion. His maternal granddam, Madalyn Legacy (sire & dam of this mare are both APHA Champions), was shown Western Pleasure in the OPHB Triple Crown Futurities and placed 3rd out of over 30 horses present.
